Terms of Service
Last updated: 15 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Echad Media House, which operates SpiritStream (spiritstream.net) and its EchadLink community. By creating an account or using SpiritStream, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use SpiritStream.
1. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- Give accurate information, keep your password private, and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
- Do not impersonate another person, ministry or organisation, or create accounts to get around a suspension.
2. A respectful, multi-faith community
SpiritStream welcomes people of every faith tradition. Disagreement is welcome; disrespect is not. You may not post or send anything that:
- Attacks or demeans people because of their religion, race, ethnicity, nationality, sex, disability or any similar characteristic.
- Harasses, bullies or threatens anyone, or encourages violence or self-harm.
- Contains sexual or graphic violent content, or puts children at risk in any way.
- Is illegal, promotes illegal activity, or contains spam, scams, viruses or other harmful code.
- Infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights.
- Shares other people's private information without their permission.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of the videos, audio, posts and other content you upload. By publishing content on SpiritStream, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, convert (for example into different video qualities), display, stream and distribute it on SpiritStream and in promotion of SpiritStream, for as long as it stays on the service. You confirm that you own your content or have permission to publish it, including any music, footage or images in it.
4. Moderation and enforcement
We use automated filters and human moderators to keep SpiritStream safe. We may refuse, hide or remove content, issue strikes, limit features, or suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk. Where available, you can appeal a decision from your account.
5. Copyright complaints
If you believe content on SpiritStream infringes your copyright, use the copyright claim feature or contact us with the details of your work and the content concerned. Accounts that repeatedly infringe copyright will be closed.
6. Offerings, subscriptions and payments
Offerings to creators are voluntary gifts. Payments are processed by our payment providers and are subject to their terms. Unless the law requires otherwise or we state otherwise at the time of payment, offerings are not refundable. Creators are responsible for any taxes on what they receive.
7. Live streaming
When you go live, everything you broadcast must follow these terms. Only broadcast people who have agreed to appear, and do not broadcast in places where recording is not allowed.
8. The service
We work to keep SpiritStream available and secure, but it is provided "as is". We may change, add or remove features, and the service may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control. Views expressed in content belong to their creators, not to Echad Media House.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Echad Media House is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or lost profits arising from your use of SpiritStream, or for content posted by other users. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Ending your use
You may stop using SpiritStream and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cameroon, without affecting any rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.
12. Changes and contact
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and tell you before important changes take effect; continuing to use SpiritStream after that means you accept the new terms. Questions: echadmediahouse@gmail.com
